The original LP was issued on Mercury MG 20627) (1961), according to Brian Priestly, Mingus: A Critical Biography. London.

The present release is a Dutch pressing of unknown date, but certainly post-1964, since liner notes refer to "the late Eric Dolphy". The label has a (p) 1961 date, which is also printed in the runout grooves.
