"Tears in the Rain" was not included on the official release of Electronicat, but was released in late 2002 under Steve Gibbs's alias Altitude ([r91879]) on Platipus (PLAT 108). The version of this track featured on this test pressing is slightly different from the definitive Altitude version.

"Electronicat" appears to have been destined to be released on Platipus's sublabel Gekko (hence the catalog number GKK 002 in the stamped runout identifier). A second "Electronicat" test pressing circulated in 2001, with "Tears in the Rain" replaced by the Van Bellen remix of "Electronicat" ([r3343503]). By this time the release must have been moved to Platipus itself (hence its catalog number PLAT 87).
