In the UK there were two versions of this single. This double pack single is a must-find item for collectors as it includes 'Burning Bridges' which was produced by David Sylvian that has not been released on CD. It is a different mix to the track which appears on the album titled, [url=http://www.discogs.com/Japan-Gentlemen-Take-Polaroids/release/27716]Gentlemen Take Polaroids[/url].
With the other [url=http://www.discogs.com/Japan-Gentlemen-Take-Polaroids/release/1846484]UK standard single[/url] version, about 100 fully autographed copies were given away by Smash Hits in a competition. [url=http://www.discogs.com/Japan-Gentlemen-Take-Polaroids/release/1277797]Australian[/url] & [url=http://www.discogs.com/Japan-Gentlemen-Take-Polaroids/release/1545194]German[/url] releases were also issued in a single sleeve; however those are not limited autographed editions. Also produced by Sylvian, 'The Width Of A Room is the only Japan track written by Rob Dean. UK chart position: 60.
