The group were forced to change their name due to the outbreak of the Gulf War in 1991. They were briefly known as "Massive", and it is this name that is used on this release.
This is the second version of the 1991 UK pressing of this release. Just a few initial radio DJ copies which held the original name were printed; they had to be returned immediately to be destroyed and were replaced by this version. Some DJs did not return their copies, and so the [url=http://www.discogs.com/Massive-Attack-Unfinished-Sympathy/release/3350483]misprint[/url] is a very rare item nowadays.
